This is a great pattern for a great little plush bat. The instructions are super clear. The pattern is easy to work with. The finished result is perfect! I used fleece and cotton scraps because that's what I had on hand right away and she came out perfect! If you are unsure about buying this pattern don't be, it's a great pattern!

I sized the pattern up to 150% as recommended and I'm glad I did as it is fiddley. I used velvet and quilting cotton for one bat and just quilting cotton for the other but with some batting in both wings. I'm really pleased with how they worked out and was very grateful for the youtube tutorial!

i made these two cuties for my close friend's baby shower (twins!).

this was my first time making plushies. before hand sewing, it took me about 3 hours to cut and sew on my machine. i, personally, found it much easier to use clips (instead of pins) with the minky fabric, as it can be pretty slippery.

if it's your first time, just take it slow! this pattern is pretty forgiving. definitely recommend and can't wait to make more!

I use this pattern any time I want to sew a shark. It also makes a good shark base that you can change a bit to resemble different species! I also one time combined this pattern with Choly's Korok pattern to make a shark man. Super versatile pattern!
